Art in Public Places is pleased to announce the 19th Annual Vail Winterfest opening late January 2026 on the Gore Creek Promenade, located by the International Bridge in Vail Village, and will be displayed until the ice melts!
Over 25,000 pounds of expertly carved ice will metamorphose Vail into a captivating sight suitable for all ages. Whether you prefer to bask in the intricate ice sculptures during the day or savor the enchanting illuminated display at night, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Illumination begins daily at dusk until 10 p.m.
